Rock-a-bye Baby
Rock-a-bye baby on the tree tops
When the wind blows the cradle will rock
When the bough breaks the cradle will fall
And down will come baby, cradle and all
Rock-a-bye baby at the seaside
Cradle rocked by the incoming tide
When the tide's high the cradle will float
And out will sail baby, in cradle-boat
Rock-a-bye baby under the stars
Clear enough to see Venus and Mars
When the clouds form the stars disappear
But don't worry baby, they are still here
Rock-a-bye baby in mother's arms
Mother sings songs to keep baby calm
When baby sleeps then mother can too
So please baby sleep an hour or two
