2024-02 February Report
So after the total failed attempt at a declutter challenge back in September, I'm sweeping the dust off this place.
In organising my digital crap I came across the monthly "declutter reports" I wrote in 2022. They were good motivation to actually get rid of stuff, if only to keep up with the constant influx, plus finding "little victories" of things that are no longer hanging over me to fix or finish helps add a moment of appreciation before the next thing takes over.
Obviously missed the January boat, but better late than never!

- 2 x pairs of split shoes - binned
- 1 x broken umbrella - binned
- 7 x books - donated
- 2 x towels - donated
- 1 x duvet cover - donated
- 1 x pack of dog treats - donated
- 1 x blanket - donated
Other little victories
- Discovered the "Full Calendar" Obsidian plugin and turned a ton of datestamped notes into calendars - this pleases the brain-goblins.
- While my usual go-to of Battersea is not currently requesting goods like old towels, I found a rescue centre in Wales that is, so the pile of "stuff a rescue might want" is now considerably smaller.
- Listed an ikea storage box on ebay, fingers crossed it'll sell.
- Finally got a plumber in to raise/reinforce and reseal the bath. Technically had them come seal it twice, fingers crossed this second attempt holds!
