2024-03 March Report
Continuing from last month, another Report. This month I rediscovered the joys of Freecycle, apparently.
Because the point of these is just to clean up the house and feel good about having done so, which things "count" and how much they count as is largely vibes-based. For example, counting every single Magic card in the 7.6kg box would be farcical, but calling it "one box" feels too insignificant for how much has gone, so "7 deck boxes" felt like a better representation.

Other little victories
- Took some mistaken supermarket purchases to a food bank drop-off while they still had plenty of "best before" time left.
- Finally got around to sewing new elastics for one of my facemasks.
- Helped husband replace a blown headlight bulb in his car - he's even less DIY-inclined than I am so it was a first for us both, but it went well!
- Found a company to buy husband's Magic the Gathering card collection (which he hasn't played for the entire almost-decade I've known him). He got ~£60, I got a big box out of the livingroom!
- After 5 calls to Amazon to address packages we've been receiving for the previous owner (7 so far), they've given me a blanket "wait 24 hours and if no one asks for it back you can dispose of it how you like", so at least I can stop calling.
